Christmas is Coming!!
2017 has been a busy year for our two shops!
We had a massive promotion over the summer offering a huge range of summer products from gardening to DIY. We worked with a new supplier to offer a great new range of summer lines. We had some big orders for garden furniture. My personal favourite new line was the Cuprinol Garden Shades which I used on my little boy's play house and it looked fab! It even painted over the existing green paint, I was very impressed! Both shops worked hard to make our windows look summery and cheerful.
We started to really work on our Facebook page, trying to update it regularly. Its worth liking and following us as we show new lines on there and special offers. My aim for next year is to use it more to highlight great special offers when we have them in.
We have tried to get more involved in community events, supporting the Perton Carnival and Christmas Fair with donations. Both events went well. They are based in the centre now rather than the schools. They really help with the community feel in the area. Its lovely to see everyone working together! Perton's Christmas Fair was on Saturday and Anders Square had children singing and playing steel pans, stalls and even a mini Ferris Wheel for the kids. Its thanks to the organisers of the Fair that we now have lights in the Square after years of it lacking in Christmas colour, and for that we are very grateful!
So it is nearly Christmas again.

The build up for us starts at the end of September. It involves moving whole aisles of stock around to fit in the new lines, visiting our suppliers, placing orders and decorating our windows. It really is a lot of hard work! The windows in both shop are looking great! This years highlights in the Christmas department for me are the Elf on a Shelf and some lovely Christmas Owls. We only close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day but our hours are a bit different to our normal hours. We still have deliveries through the week so we can always order in those last minute items should you be struggling to get them anywhere!
We wish everyone a fantastic Christmas and New Year and look forward to 2018!!
