What a year 2020 has been so far!

I am sure none of us expected such a difficult and turbulent 2020 when the year began.

As an essential retail business selling car parts, plumbing, hardware, cycle and pet products we stayed open through lockdown.

With the help of our amazing and hardworking staff we managed to get through lockdown safely and overcame all the problems with supplies that lockdown brought. With great difficulty we managed to source stock from a variety of sources to keep our shelves stocked and we now have the shops fully stocked again as we like to be!

In terms of COVID19 we are following whatever the government guidelines are at any time and monitoring closely for changes.

At the time of writing, in order to adhere to the law we are now asking that customers wear masks unless medically exempt.

Most of our staff have been wearing masks for some time but we have now had to insist that they do so in order that they comply with the law.

We are monitoring customer flow through the shop and we may have to restrict entry at busier times in order that social distances can be followed.

We would like to thank all our loyal and new customers alike for the support and patience they showed over the year to date and our amazing staff who have worked so hard in very difficult circumstances.

We are starting to look towards Christmas and plan our Christmas displays and order all the Christmas stocks. There are some exciting ideas for Christmas this year which we look forward to seeing!
